Sweet, fruity, and kid-approved — with two full servings of veg blended in and undetected.
INGREDIENTS

• 1 banana, frozen (frozen is key)
• 1 cup baby spinach leaves
• 1/2 a carrot, peeled and roughly chopped
• 1/2 cup of frozen mixed berries
• 1/2 cup of natural greek yoghurt
• 3/4 cup full-fat milk (or oat/nut milk)
• 1 tablespoon smooth nut butter
• 2 soft dates, pitted (optional, for extra sweetness)
STEPS
1. Add the baby spinach and carrot to the blender along with your chosen milk — blending the greens and carrot before the fruit goes in helps break them down completely so there's no green flecks or fibrous bits.
2. Add the rest of the ingredients: frozen banana, frozen mixed berries, plain yoghurt, and smooth peanut butter if using. Blend again until thick and creamy.
3. Taste it - if it needs a touch more sweetness, blend in the pitted dates. Pour into cups and serve straight away, ideally with a fun straw.
NOTES
The carrot and spinach are completely undetectable once blended smooth - the berries and banana dominate both colour and flavour.
If you want it extra thick (more milkshake-like), use a bit less milk or add a few more frozen banana chunks.
Swap in frozen cauliflower or courgette for the carrot on days you want a different veg without changing the flavour much.
